Pulse Support Over 2,000 Emergency Volunteers Through Covid-19 Pandemic

Pulse is proud to be supporting community volunteering through the Pandemic. Pulse has helped to recruit and match over 2,000 volunteers to vulnerable people in need for help through our Thrive Trafford and Cheshire East Social Action Partnership Services.

In Trafford we have helped develop 6 Community Hubs which have provided emergency support to people in need for help with food shopping, collecting prescriptions, and for volunteers to help at vaccination sites.

In Cheshire East we have developed a network of 14 Volunteer Coordination Points, each providing local support to ensure no one is forgotten, recruiting, and matching up volunteers, and helping with befriending phone calls and buddying schemes.

Pulse has also worked with the private sector to secure donations including visors, hand sanitiser and most recently face masks for community groups from Bentley Motors.

Pulse would like to say a special thanks to everyone who has been involved and who has helped to make this happen.
